Our `Chosen Places to Stay' come in four different categories;

STANDARD

$ (up to US$ 100 per room per night)

Most of our favourite small hotels, guesthouses, retreats, eco-lodges, heritage hotels fall in this category. No pretensions to grandeur but great value for money.

SUPERIOR

$$ (between US$ 100 to US$ 200 per night)

Excellent atmospheric hotels and palaces or resorts in stunning locations. For those who are willing to spend a bit more for that extra level of comfort.

LUXURY

$$$ (between US$ 200 to US$ 400 per room per night)

Exceptional hotels in the metropolitan cities or in exclusive locations, with high level of service or amenities.

TOP OF THE LINE

$$$$ (more than US$ 400 per room per night)

These are the top of the line, `life doesn't get any better than this' variety of hotels and some much written about palaces. Most hotels in this category are likely to be a member of the famed `Leading Hotels of the World' group.
