Samode Haveli

A lovely old haveli set around a pleasant garden courtyard. Built as a townhouse for the royal family of Samode, the family still resides in a wing of the hotel. The location of the Samode Haveli is unbeatable!

The twenty-nine odd rooms in the rambling building are well furnished with local hand-block printed fabrics and period furniture. The restaurant is covered from wall to ceiling with exquisite frescoes. The recently constructed pool area, with adjoining spa, is a very welcome addition.

About Samode Haveli

An excellent Haveli right in the middle of the old city, Samode Haveli was the town house for the Prime Minister of Jaipur state. The family still resides in an adjoining wing of the hotel. Restored and added to with impeccable style, Samode Haveli combines comfort with good taste in a traditional setting

The 29 rooms and suites are reached through delightful courtyards and gardens. The recently refurbished rooms have ample space - including a luggage rack that can accommodate the largest of suitcases, extremely comfortable beds, interesting smaller pieces of furniture and well chosen artefacts. The hallmark of Samode hotels are the excellent bathrooms - clean, large, with generous size shower stalls and world class fittings.

The dining hall at Samode is extravagantly decorated with floor to ceiling intricate frescoes, making it a special setting for dinner. Beside the dining room is an airy verandah lounge where afternoon tea is served. Private meals and candle-lit dinners in the lush green garden are possible with prior notice.

The Haveli has several courtyards, pleasant lawns and gardens with many old trees. There is also a romantic swimming pool, flanked by an arched bungalow with a bar downstairs and a spa upstairs. There are also three pavilions which offer sumptuous daybeds for pool-side lounging. The ambience is of modern sophistication with regal Indian touches.
