Day 1, DELHI

Arrive at Delhi where you are met and transferred to your hotel near the airport. It's great to see someone waiting for you at the airport and to be whisked away by your private driver to a comfortable hotel.

Day 2, DELHI TO JAIPUR

An excellent new highway links Delhi with Jaipur (5-6 hrs). The capital of the state of Rajasthan is popularly known as the 'Pink City' as the buildings in its old, walled city are all painted a mellow pink/rust colour. It is one of the most interesting cities in India with exuberant 18th and 19th century palaces and an exotic street life.

Day 3, JAIPUR

Today you are taken on a city tour of Jaipur visiting the legendry City Palace, the Hawa Mahal (The Palace of Wind) and the Observatory. In the afternoon you visit the majestic Amber Fort and have time to wander through the bazaars. Jaipur is well known for its beautiful carpets, enameled ornaments, precious and semi-precious stones, brass ornaments and many other arts and crafts.

Day 4, ONWARDS FROM JAIPUR

After breakfast on the last day of your tour, the module comes to an end. Jaipur is a perfect starting point for other trips into Rajasthan. You can therefore continue your Journey through Rajasthan or take the Road to Agra to see the Taj Mahal.
