Journey through Rajasthan

Day 1, JAIPUR TO PUSHKAR

Drive to Pushkar, a desert oasis on a holy lake. Afternoon at leisure to explore the lakeside with its many holy men, pilgrims and temples.

Stay at Pushkar Palace.

Day 2, PUSHKAR TO JODHPUR

Drive to Jodhpur. Afternoon visit to the impressive Meherangarh Fort, with fantastic views across this blue-hued city.

Stay at Pal Haveli

Day 3, JODHPUR TO JAISALMER

Cross the desert to the `Golden City' of Jaisalmer, looming magically out of the horizon.

Stay at Nachana Haveli for two nights

Day 4, JAISALMER

You explore Jaisalmer on foot on a guided morning tour. Within the fortress walls the cobbled streets are strewn with stunning palaces, beautiful mansions of rich merchants (havelis), and Jain temples that were built between the 12th and 15th centuries.

Day 5, JAISALMER TO BHENSWARA

Drive through rarely visited areas of Rajasthan to Bhenswara. Evening leopard safari.

Stay at Ravla Bhenswara

Day 6, BHENSWARA TO UDAIPUR

Drive via the magnificent Jain temples of Ranakpur to the `Lake City' of Jodhpur.

Stay at Jagat Niwas Palace Hotel for two nights

Day 7, UDAIPUR

You take a morning tour of the intricate palaces and temples.

Day 8, ONWARDS FROM UDAIPUR

Your trip ends after breakfast. You can choose to travel from Udaipur to Jaipur, allowing you a stay in the fabulous Deogarh Mahal along the way. Alternative you can travel from Udaipur to Ahmedabad and enjoy a stay in the Udai Bilas Palace in Dungarpur. Udaipur is also well connected by trains and flights to many other places in India.
