Day 1, UDAIPUR TO DUNGARPUR

Dungarpur, literally, the "town of hills", has one of the most remarkable palaces of princely India. The Udai Bilas Palace palace overlooks the Gaibsagar lake, and offers delightful views and some excellent birdwatching in the winter months.

Day 2, DUNGARPUR TO AHMEDABAD

Today you drive to Ahmedabad (3 hrs) where your tour ends. You can stay in Ahmedabad or use it as a starting point to for continuing your travels in Gujarat.

You can drive to Dasada (2 hrs) to visit (The Little Rann of Kutch), to Wankaner (4 hrs) as a stop-over to visit (Textile Villages around Buj), or to Gondal (5 hrs) as a stop-over to (Sasangir & Palitana) to see lions and hilltop temples. If you have sufficient time you can combine all these three modules to see the best of Gujarat in one trip!
